Want to get dressed up in pretty frocks, have your hair and makeup done by the experts and pose as a blushing bride-to-be? Assuming you’re not someone who hates (and I mean, hates) having her picture taken (ahem – me), then I’m sure ‘ya do.
Lara, Emily and I will be producing an exclusive photo shoot for the spring/summer issue of Southern Weddings right here in North Carolina. Since we’ll be highlighting the area’s natural beauty, we’d like to feature another of its many treasures: Carolina girls! (And by Carolina girls, we don’t just mean those fabulous ladies who attend the University, but any gal who lives and breathes for – and in – the Tar Heel state.
Still interested? (We hope so!) If you’re between the ages of 18 and 25, can fit in our size 2-4 dress samples and are free for a May 11 photo shoot in Chapel Hill, we’d love to hear from you! Email us a head shot and a few candids at [email protected].

ooo that’d be soo fun!! I’m almost a size 4 (size 6 and loosing weight)… and live locally. Of course suppose to work next Tuesday.
size 2 – 4…. I would love if you would feature real women that aren’t stick thin and don’t make each bride feel like they need to lose 20 lbs to look beautiful on their wedding day. How refreshing that would be.
Hi Abby! Thank you so much for commenting. We agree with you 100%! As an office made up of ladies in all different shapes and sizes, we definitely appreciate real, natural beauty. Since the dresses we have available for this shoot are size 2 and 4 and cannot be altered, we need to find girls who fit them as-is.
